摘  要: In the stationary case, the covariance functions are Toeplitz type, while Hankel type covariances should be thought as a natural extension. In this talk, we first explain classical results on the stationary case (hence the roles of Toeplitz operators in linear prediction theory). In additional, we introduce Branching-type Toeplitz operators on trees and their applications to the relating prediction theory. This is based on joint works with Yanqi Qiu.
